For the past (almost) three years, my family and I have lived in South Central PA, quite literally, next to a corn field. We moved for the husbandry's work and now, have just moved back to our native Ohio. In fact, as I type this, nearly all my worldly possessions are currently sitting on a truck waiting for us to close on our house and unpack it all.
While we were in our little town, the husband and I didn't really get a whole lot of chances to "date" each other. Just a handful of times to movies (like I think I can count them on one hand...) a dinner or two, and our big outing, a parent/teacher conference. We were content in coming up with in house dates-gamenight in our driveway with neighbors, movie night, late dinner, etc.
BUT.
We are now back in the land of grandparents, former students, and teenagers with glowing references from friends, all of which mean real, honest to goodness DATES. Yes, we are excited. My husband came up with the simple, yet grand idea...50 First Dates. It may take us a few years to complete, but that is our plan. And of course, being a scrapbooker I have to document our adventures.
(My husband calls me Will, short for Willis which is my maiden name.)
Our plan is to make a list, each coming up with at least 25 dates, with no repeats. Lucky for me, I can have help-your help. So won't you help me come up with my 25? Be creative, be adventurous, be romantic. And while your at it, get a few ideas to do with your loved one. But for the record, I am not sure I am ready to try sky diving quite yet.
