We are so very excited that June has arrived. Summer is beginning, school is ending, and here we are celebrating!!
Today today today today today today is our birthday. Or anniversary. Whichever it is, we are happy to eat some (cup)cake(s)!
But not only is our birthday, and our redesign day, but it is also the first of the month, which means we have a new gallery! This month, each of our designers looked to our very own site for their inspiration.
Do you find inspiration here? We really hope so, for that is truly our main goal. At Write. Click. Scrapbook. we want to inspire you to create pages. To document your histories, your dailies, and your memories. And we want you to love your pages. To be proud of your photos, and stories. And how you put them together. There is so much out there for fancy pages, for super technique, for the art of it all. For those of us who are more comfortable scrapping simply, there is the potential to feel like your pages aren't enough. That you aren't doing it right. Which just isn't true. We believe in you. And your simple pages. In fact, we love them! Because here, simple is stunning!!
With that we proudly present our new gallery, We Aim to Inspire!
What a tremendous gallery! Our team drew inspiration from the daily posts, the monthly galleries, the Sunday photo & quote, and our Tumblr board. All the places we hope you go, too!
One last thing for today.
Today, we also have some additions to celebrate! You might have noticed some new names in the gallery and the bios. Please give a warm welcome to our newest team members, Alexandra Sirugue-MacLeod, Christa Paustenbaugh, Claudia Shadler, Lisa Kisch, and Marcy Penner. We have fallen head over heels with each of them and know you will, too.
Lastly, we need to bid a temporary farewell to our dearest editor, Elizabeth Dillow. For the past two and half years ago, Elizabeth has been an integral part of this site. Suffice it to say that without her we would not have begun, let alone continued to grow and flourish for the past two years. It is with very heavy hearts and tear-stained faces that we say farewell, for now. We look forward to her returning in January as a regular team member. Until then, we will miss her dearly.
Thank you, again for being the greatest readers that we could have ever asked for. We hope that you love us, too, and look forward to many more years together. For today, eat a cupcake in our behalf, drink a Dr. Pepper in Elizabeth's honor, and enjoy our birthday! Celebrations will continue through Saturday!!
