Hi, Erin here, and today it's my turn to share the mini album I made with this fabulous Studio Calico kit.
Back in January, I had the idea to do 52 projects with my daughters in 2012. With their little brother being 18-months-old and requiring much of my attention, I thought this would be a fun way for us to do something together, something that didn't require me chasing after Ryan. Of course, reality soon set in and I realized there was no way I'd get 52 craft projects done with them. So I altered it a bit, it's now 52 Projects, Activities and Outings (PAO). That's a bit long for the title page though.
Now in the interest of full-disclosure, I confess I haven't exactly had us doing something each and every week. My plans were waylaid by way too many visits to the pediatrician, among other things, and we're behind. Like eight or so behind. But that's okay, summer will be here soon and I'll make up lost ground then. For now, here are four of the pages I have finished.
PAO #1
PAO #2
PAO #3
PAO #4
A few things about this album:
- I'm following the same basic format for each page - picture, journaling, title, and a cut circle with the number. I wanted to keep the format easy since there will be a lot of pages to complete.
- I'll be adding the date for each PAO at some point.
- I originally planned on a 2-page spread for each PAO then I realized that would make the album over 104 pages long, so I modified my plan.
- Since I won't have enough letters in this pack of SC Thickers for 52 titles, I'm going to use other Thickers in a similar font to continue the look.
Thanks to Studio Calico for sponsoring our week and thanks to you for stopping by today. Check back tomorrow for another great mini made with the February Studio Calico Kit.
