I'm with Marnie and Francine in their adoration of this Cocoa Daisy paper crafting kit. It's divine, it's playful, it's full of yummy goodness. And the colors make me smile. How can you not {heart} that?
Hi, I'm Monika Wright, and I've admitted to you many times in the past that I am a mini book fanatic. I don't know that I could even count on all my fingers and toes how many I've crafted since I started scrapping a few years ago. I will tell you this though, once you make one, you'll be hooked...just try it.
I've prepared a Smash style mini book with pages that range in size from 7x9 inches all the way down to a wallet sized photo. You'll notice on my cover that I punched out the center of a flower die cut to highlight the month of April...I'll be using my mini book as a Month in the Life memory keeper. It's a memory-keeping concept made popular by Ali Edwards, one of our faithful and supportive blog sponsors.
I used a card that Cocoa Daisy sent along with the kit {the reverse side tells me who packaged my kit...hi Lillian!} to embellish this pocket folder. Since the card speaks of art, I'll include some drawings from our daughters.
As I share these pages, remember that at this point they are unembellished. I'll be using the two sets of letter stickers, die cuts, ribbon and tags once I add inmy photos and memorabilia throughout the month of April.
I'll be updating this mini book using the Cocoa Daisy kit on my blog, if you'd like to pop in next month to see how I'm putting it all together and embellished each page with the rest of the Cocoa Daisy goodies to document our Month in the Life.
Now that my mini book has been created, it will just take me just a few moments to document the story of the day, add a few embellies from the kit, a title and before I know it, April's Month in the Life will be a {documented} memory.
