Hello fellow scrapbookers! I am excited for my first blogging week at write. click. scrapbook. This week we are going to go deeper into our monthly theme, Pinterest Made Me Do It! Over the next few days, we are going to look into ways that your pins can inspire your pages. Each day we will pick a particular way to look at what you see and then see how to translate that onto a page layout. Sound good?
First up, let's look at how you can take inspiration from cards.
One day, I came across this card that I loved.

The blocking was interesting and I felt that it would translate to a great page. So I used it as a jumping off point for blocks of patterned paper and title placement.

When I saw this card, I fell in love with the square word bubbles and the placement of the large photo.

It was an easy transition to get to this layout.
Tonight your assignment is to look at the cards on Pinterest with a different perspective. Find some that catch your eye and then ask yourself what elements could work well on a layout. Then make one!
Thank you for stopping! I can't wait to see you tomorrow for more inspiration!
