Hello, Jennifer Larson here, sharing a recent but favorite ritual in our family: making a summer bucket list.
For me, summer can be a combination of days where the boys meander aimlessly, seeking something to do, and days where the time just flies. To squeeze every ounce of sweetness out of summer, last year we made a bucket list. Here's what we made for this year:
I wrote down a few things, then asked each family member to share their ideas. It's not going to be as rigid as a recipe for baking, but it will give us something to use on those aimless days.
Last summer I turned my list into a layout to post and remind us of what we could do:
And then I turned it into a mini album.
I made the mini of the whole list, then when we accomplished each, I took a picture and printed it. We didn't accomplish everything, but that's OK. It was an ambitious list.
Thanks for reading! I hope it made you think about all the wonderful things around you that you could see or do this summer. Enjoy!
