Sue Althouse here today, with my very first post! We tend to do more in the summer - get out and see things, go places. I'm sure we're not alone in this. I like to save the little bits and pieces from our adventures and preserve them in a special way. Here's what I've accumulated so far in June and July.
I simply toss everything in a small basket and let the pile grow. Right now I'm too busy enjoying summer! At the end of the year, it gets sorted and added to my Ephemera Album.
I keep this ongoing mini album as easy as possible. The ephemera fills each page, so there's no need for additional products. Reminds me of the scrapbooks I kept as a child and teenager.
I started my first Ephemera Album back in 2008. I purchased five identical albums then, enough to take me through 2027! Each year, I have six pages waiting to be filled with these little tokens of our travels and daily life events. Every four years, an album is filled and I start on the next one.
I always intend to add memorabilia to my scrapbook pages, but I always forget. My Ephemera Album solves that problem. No more guilt! If you want to start one of your own, any mini album will do. Smash books, Project Life albums, even making one yourself would work very well. I hope this gives you some inspiration for preserving the little tokens of wonderful summer memories!
