I find it enjoyable to wrap them and I LOVE giving a beautiful or clever wrapped package with the special gift that I selected to the recipient. Over the last year (literally, I've been planning this post for that long :)) I have scoured the internet to bring you some fun and clever ideas for your holiday (and everyday) gift giving.
Wrap it in Kraft
During my search, I found lots of Kraft wrapping paper ideas. Not only is it simple and cost effective, but it can be easily customized too.
Add a doily for a simple elegant look.
Customize the package the package with the recipients initial and finish it off with a pretty bow.
I love the idea of adding a piece of evergreen secured with twine.
Chalkboard Ideas
How about incorporating the popular chalkboard trend? I found some gift wrap and tag ideas.
I love this printable chalkboard paper and coordinating tags.

I love the idea of using newspaper, comics and old maps to wrap a package. Add a colorful bow and you have the perfect presentation.
Personalize the gift wrap to the interest of the recipient, like using sheet music for a music lover or musician.

Put Your Scrapbook Supplies to Work
Try using some of your scrapbook supplies for embellishing your packages. Here are some simple and clever ideas to try.
Use your Washi tape to make a cute banner and wrap it around your package in place of ribbon or twine.
If you are like me, you have a ton of miniature clothes pins. Embellish them with glitter and trinkets, then attach it to the top of your package. Adorable!
Use your buttons and twine to tie up your package. It looks fabulous finished off with some fresh greens.

How sweet it is...try embellishing your packages with some treats that everyone will love.
I love the idea of attaching peppermint candies to the package. So festive!
