It's my favorite Saturday! The one where we get to spend some time together and then make three layouts together and then find inspiration for many many more! I love it! The gallery this month was incredibly inspiring for me. I hope you found it to be so, too.
SKETCH
The sketch this month comes from Sue's layout. I picked it for our sketch layout as it seemed to have such great potential for patterns and photos, and for varying title treatments and lengths.
Here is how the sketch turned out.
And here is my layout.
You knew I was going to level off the photos, didn't you? I know, I know. It's my need for symmetry rearing its ugly head! I so love the patterned papers getting to have some good stage time on this one. Mmm. Sue got it so right! Thank you, Sue, for a fantastic layout perfect for our sketch. I loved using it and know that others will, too. Dear readers, if you would like to use the sketch as a layered template, you may download it here. Please let us know if you do!
ROYGBIV
This month, the colors in Celeste's layout spoke to me. With their trendy blues and corals, it seemed like the perfect color scheme to chase away the winter chill!
Here is how the color palette came out.
Isn't it lovely? Thank you, Celeste, for a touch of springtime! I was so excited to put it to use!
To put my layout together, I looked to this lovely layout from Michelle Wedertz. It was perfect for the photo I had.
CHERRY ON TOP
For a bit of extra fun, I put the two together to create a layout with the sketch and the colors. Sue + Celeste = Suelest. Like coolest. Heehee...
I turned the sketch on its side but left the title sideways. Don't you think it gives it a totally different look?
As a super bonus, I made one with Celeste's layout as a template. I loved the tilted nature. Couldn't resist!
Thank you for your time and love! I hope you enjoyed the gallery as much as I did and that you will find the sketch and color scheme helpful! As always, if you make a layout using the sketch or the color palette, (or both!) please leave me word and a link. I would love to see what you do!
