Day Three is upon us! It's the middle of our week and we are having fun raking in the golds! How about you? Are you enjoying the Olympics? both those in Russia and those here?
Today we are excited to bring you Freestyle!
FREESTYLE
Our fourth Scrapolympic event is Freestyle. Freestyle skiing combines speed, showmanship and the ability to perform aerial manoeuvres whilst skiing.
Here is the official Olympic history statement.
Freestyle skiing was contested as a demonstration sport at the 1988 Calgary Games. There were events for both men and women in all three events – moguls, aerials and ballet. Four years later, the mogul event gained medal status at the Albertville Games, as did the aerial event at Lillehammer in 1994.

Freestyle seems to be the event where the athletes get to show their skills and strengths and do what they do best. So that is what we are going to do, too!
FREESTYLE = DO YOUR BEST WITH WHAT YOU DO BEST
Our freestyle team today is Team WhatIDoBest. It consists of Diane Payne, Jennie McGarvey, Sue Althouse, Lisa Ottosson, Aliza Deustch, and Marnie Flores.
Each teammate created a layout showcasing their strengths. Let's see if their layouts can earn us more gold!
This brings day 3 to a close. We hope you found our layouts to be golden! We also invite you to play along and create a layout or two with your signature style showcasing your strengths. Link us up, and leave us word about your strength! We look forward to seeing your Freestyle pages.
Hope you are enjoying our Olympic extravaganza!
