Hello! Jennifer Larson here, tremendously excited to work with Jenni Bowlin's June 2013 mini album kit.
I have two boys, so the flowers and ribbons in this kit made me think immediately to do a project about myself.
I had made a list a while ago about little things that made me happy. (I think this was during polar vortex number 5, when I forced myself to appreciate everything even though it was frigid outside.) I had been planning a layout with the list, but this kit inspired me to turn it into a mini album instead. Here's what I did:
The kit came with directions, which was really helpful. The directions made me dig out a stamp and a punch I had to add texture and journaling spaces. I turned the orientation of the album to fit my longer titles. Here's the inner pages:
The wood and chipboard frames made me go out and take pictures of the little things and size them to fit the frames. Here's the rest of the album:
I didn't actually finish the album, which you can see from the last photo. This has been my process for mini albums lately; I've filled them as much as I can, then leave some blank pages for filling in later. These were the ittle things that made me happy this winter; I'll add the little things that make me happy from this summer to the rest of the pages.
So there's my mini abum! All about me, with flowers and butterflies and a little bit of pink.
