Hello! Stephanie Bryan here with you for Day 3 of Mini Madness with JBS Mercantile. I was super excited when I opened the March Papercrafting kit from Jenni Bowlin. There were a mix of bold and subtle colors and fun elements, including wood veneer, gold sequins and rub-ons!
The blues, greys and yellows from the b-sides of the papers popped right out at me and I decided to put together a mini album about my son and his favorite things right now. My son is just a little over three and he is 100% boy! Full of energy and spirit and I love to capture him "in his element"!
I wanted my book to have pages of varying sizes, so I trimmed down all of my favorite patterned papers and then assembled my album from there. Since my pages were all different sizes, I attached them together using a book ring at the top of my papers. For each photo in the book, I included a piece of white card stock with a number sticker on it and some typed journaling to denote my sons 8 favorite things! I printed my photos at a smaller size so I could add in additional pops of patterned papers, wood elements and buttons around my photos. Let's take a look!
And that's it! A sweet little book all about my son at three! Thanks so much for joining me today and a great big thanks to Jenni Bowlin for the awesome kit!!
