Hello! It's Marnie here to tell you all about the new format.
First, we hope you like the new look! You will find all the same information in the margins--just a click away. Be sure to check out our new team page! We love having all our pictures together on one page. We hope you do, too!
Next, it is June which means it is time for our new summer schedule. This year, we have divided the week into themed posts. Stop by Mondays to learn more about journaling. And Tuesdays for photography. Then Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are filled with all things scrapbooking. Saturdays will become Sketchbook days, except for the final one which will be our most favorite Gallery Walk. Sundays will remain the beloved Photo+Words, with the exception that you can send one in if you would like to be featured. More on that to come.
We launched the new gallery on Saturday, please be sure to check it out if you haven't yet had a chance.
And don't forget to leave some birthday love! I read the other day that Christine Middlecamp will no longer be maintaining her blog (she will be missed!). She, along with countless others, are leaving their blogs behind as they just don't feel like the time and effort is worth it. In other words, they don't feel like anyone is reading, as no one comments anymore. The saddest part for me was reading all the comments on Christine's announcement post that said they read every post and that they will miss her terribly and that they are sorry to have never commented. So many will miss her posts--she just didn't know as so few took the minute to comment on her posts.
I know we are all busy, and that reading is easier than leaving a little love, but trust me, when you spend HOURS writing a post, that little bit of love feels like a game changer! Honestly. So please, when you stop by, please leave a comment to let our team know you have been here. We do this out of the love of scrapbooking and knowing you appreciate our efforts will certainly be the thing that keeps us alive!
