Hi it´s Lisa here with a Scrapbook. post today!
The scrapbooking world has been overwhelmed (in a good way, I think!) with the Project Life idea from Becky Higgins over the past 2 years. Many of the other scrapbooking companies have also been influenced by the simple cards. Today I wanted to show you how I use cards that are meant to be in pocket scrapbooking on regular layouts.
Here, I have created a super simple design with 2 photos and 2 cards. The cards make it simple to throw a page together, especially because they act as both a journaling card and decoration. Almost as easy as putting them in pockets!
In this layout I used one of the photo cards I have made myself (click here to see the original post and free download!) and added it in with a journaling card. The page is like the title says: a note to myself to not take everything so seriously. The card helps with that message.
Finally, this page was put together in 10 minutes, I kid you not! The patterned paper was trimmed, the cards and photo too, adhered, journaling written - bam! Coordinated kits are just so helpful. The colors in those two cards might have been a bit tricky otherwise, but since they came in a kit they are a perfect match!
Thank you Becky for your idea and infuence to make memorykeeping easier!
Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!
Lisa
