Hi there! Celeste back again with another post. I hope you are enjoying your summer and taking loads of photos! Today I'm going to talk to you about templates and sketches. I tend to be very literal when I'm working with templates and sketches, but really there is so much you can do with them.
I created this template/sketch from a page I created. Super simple design, but fun and really makes the photo take center stage.
Here is my original page.
Now using my template, I'm going to show you a few ways to switch it up!
*Rotate the template 90 degrees either clockwise or counterclockwise. See how I rotated the title and the journaling. I also moved the element down.
*Fill the page or shrink the main area down. Here I filled the page, but with a larger template you can always shrink it down!
* Add photos. You can always break a photo spot up into more photos!
*Upside down! You can always flip the template upside down or mirror it from left to right or top to bottom. It's an easy way to change it up especially if you prefer your photos on a certain side of the page.
*And now for something completely different. Just use the page as inspiration. Here you can see I kept the scalloped edge and the polaroid photo, but created a page that is more layered and has more elements!
That's just a few of the many ways you can mix it up a bit.
Keep on scrappin',
