July is here with all its fireworks, and hot days. Its red. Its white. Its blue. Hot dogs. Hamburgers. Roasted marshmallows. Lemonades. Pool days. We love it all!
This month we are celebrating The Great Outdoors. Let's see what our team has put together! (If you want to see the journaling, and the layouts in a bigger size, please click on over to the gallery album!)

It’s been a while since I used such a dark background for a layout. And, I never imagined that I would use that bright green cardstock. But sometimes it just works out. I like when that happens.

I have a little notebook of all the things I’d like to do and get done this summer.

Last summer’s camping trip was a wet mess, but the walk through the historic quarry was buggy but divine. I chose my favorite photos, enlarged the best to 8 x 12, then scrapped it with happy colors and few embellishments to celebrate the memory.

I love nature. I love my garden. I love being outside. I could have made 100 projects for this prompt! This year I have made several layouts in a 6" x 8" size and they make me super happy! Sometimes it is so much fun to work with a different size.

Go See Do | Celeste Smith
12 x 12 | materials kit (Great Outdoors Explore by Kristin Kronin-Barrow) + font (Rockwell)
A Note from Celeste
My boys spend a lot of time outdoors especially when we are on vacation. One of the main activities Adam is interested in is fishing especially on a boat. I was excited that my husband stopped for a minute and took a few photos. I avoid boats as I have awful motion sickness!
July Fun Fact
Both boys are going away for the same week during July. It will be nice to have a quiet house, but after a few days I’ll surely be missing them!
We (heart) Outside! | Marnie Flores
12 x 12 | materials papers, embellishments (Creativity by Crystal) + font (Bebas, Pea Comfy Cozy)

After using Crystal's new templates this past week, I remembered how much I loved blocking. And how happy I am that my margins can be so straight now that I make my pages digitally!

A Note from Kate
I've wanted to scrap this photo for years! I kept trying to think of ways to crop it and still be able to feel just how magnificent that view really was. Then I realized that I don't need to crop it. Capable of Glistening | Amy Sorenson
12 x 12 | materials patterned paper (Fancy Pants) + alphabet stickers (American Crafts) + fonts (Adobe Caslon, Voluptate)
A Note from Amy
When I printed out this photo, I had every intention to write about our adventures at Chileno Bay in Mexico (we wandered over some rocks onto a pristine and deserted stretch of beautiful beach). I really meant for it to be about an outdoor adventure! But when I wrote the journaling, something entirely different came out, mostly prompted by the quote I used for the title. (It's from David Levithan's book Every Day.)
July Fun Fact
This month, my husband and I are hiking Half Dome in Yosemite. I couldn't be more excited!
A big thank you to our team for a fantastic gallery! We hope you enjoy it and that you find many useful and fun ideas for your own pages!
