The turkey is eaten, the shopping begun, the carols are playing on more than just the oldies station. All because it's December!
While each month seems to have its own identity, December's seems to be the most defined. This month our gallery is focusing on all things December. We hope you enjoy our new gallery,
We wanted to let you know, too, that our theme for our posts this month is "Remember." We look forward to sharing ideas with you about things we remember, and ways we can preserve the activities of the month to help us better remember them later. We hope you will join us each day.
But for now, let's look at our new gallery layouts. As alway, please feel free to jump over to the gallery album if you would like to see the layouts more closely and to read the journaling they contain. Enjoy!

A Note from Aliza
This layout is about what is on my mind this December. Sure, the holiday will be great when it gets here, but it might be playing second fiddle to Sam’s upcoming Bar Mitzvah (which actually isn’t until January).
December Fun Fact
I have started straightening my hair lately. It take a lot less time than I had imagined.
Christmas Joy | Diane Payne
8.5 x 11 | materials patterned paper (Crate Paper) + buttons (A Flair For Buttons) + brads (Crate Paper) + tags (Crate Paper) + mist (Heidi Swapp) + rubons (Crate Paper) + die cuts (Crate Paper) + pen (American Crafts) + scrapbook kit (Gossamer Blue)
A Note from Diane
This layout came together quickly with the tags as the basis for my design. I love how crepe paper, gold, and vintage feeling papers and die cuts complement my photo.
December Fun Fact
It is hard to believe that the end of another year is upon us. There have been so many changes for our family this year. I look forward to spending some time with those I love most this month while reflecting on how we've grown and changed this year and begin to think about the upcoming year too.

A Note from Lisa
This layout was so fun to make! I love the holidays and am thrilled that I got to pull out my holiday materials.
December Fun Fact
I simply love December! We have already pulled out the stars and santas that we usually decorate with. We spend all Sunday changing drapes, dusting and pulling out the Christmas box.

A Note from Jennifer
I’ve meant to tell this story for a while, but a lack of photos impeded my storytelling. I decided to make the journaling the showcase and create an embellishment cluster in lieu of a photo.

I paint my toenails teal in the winter.
Roses in December | Amy Sorensen
12 x 12 | materials red patterned paper (Bo Bunny) + cream patterned paper (Crate Paper) + silver snowflakes patterned paper (Echo Park) + December card (BasicGrey) + Thickers alphabet stickers (American Crafts) + cream alphabet stickers (Elle's Studio) + grey alphabet stickers (BasicGrey) + silver word stickers
A Note from Amy
I wanted to make a big title for this layout, so I used photos that are smaller than I usually use.
December Fun Fact
I'm determined to have a Zen December this year. Not to stress so much about making things perfect, but just enjoy the time more. Also, more sleep than last December!
