Hi everyone! It's Aliza here sharing a layout that has been sitting on my desk, unfinished, for weeks and weeks. And even more weeks. I had the title, and the photo, and even the background paper ready to go since December. And then I went into high gear planning and preparing for my son's Bar Mitzvah. ( I tend to throw this tibit into coversation often.) Now that the Bar Mitzvah is finally a warm, fuzzy, pleasant memory, I can go back to every day living and crafting.
Imagine my surprise when reading through this weeks blog posts, I came across Amy's opening paragraph from Monday:
Yesterday at church I heard one of my friends griping about how much she hates January. “It’s cold and dreary and smoggy,” she was saying, “and you can’t do anything outside. You’re just stuck in your house.”
Which really is precisely the reason I sort of love January. It’s cold and dreary and smoggy, and no one expects you to get anything really productive done. What’s not to love about a month of staying home and getting other stuff done?
The love of staying home is the topic of this layout, and reading her words gave me just the kick I needed to finally type up some words, and glue everything down.
If you're a homebody like me, I say, celebrate that fact!
I hope ypu enjoy your weekend whether you choose to stay in or go out.
