Hi, everyone! I am here to talk to you today about my some of my favorite subjects to photograph. Now, as a mother, obviously pictures of my children are the most precious. But, they move around a lot. And they don't always want to be photographed. If they do agree to be photographed, it's usually one and done. So, I can't help but have another favorite subject- plants and trees. (Due to my possession of a brown thumb, it's also in the plants' best interest that I admire them from behind the lens of the camera.)
One of the things I love about trees is their beautiful lines. It feels a little funny to talk about how much I love lines, but I do. I find them beautiful; in photographs; in design; in art; and in nature.
There are big, bold. straight lines:

And, smaller, bold lines:
Going through some of these older, lusciously green photos has warmed my spirit during this long, cold winter. But even in the winter, there is beauty.
