It's the seventh month. In our seventh year. So we thought we might have some fun with the number seven today: our gallery this month is all about the number seven. What will you do to celebrate seven?
HELLO SUMMER
BY ALIZA DEUTSCH
12 x 12 | materials patterned paper (Simple Stories, Crate Paper, Cocoa Daisy, Amy Tangerine) + die cuts (Simple Stories, Fancy Pants Designs) + thickers (American Crafts) + labels (October Afternoon) + embellishments (Cocoa Daisy, Freckled Fawn) + fonts (Frente H1)
A Note from Aliza
For my seven theme, I decided to use seven photos. For this story, I knew I wanted to compile pictures from the last few years. The theme guideline really helped me narrow down my pictures, and to decide on the grid configuration. Once that was done, I just grabbed some papers and embellishments that had been sitting on my desk for a while, and suddenly it all came together. I do love when that happens.
July Fun Fact
I have been doing a lot of scrapbooking lately that seems to involve compiling pictures form several years into one layout. I guess I am feeling nostalgic.
TAKE FLIGHT
BY JENNY LARSON
12 x 12 | materials patterned paper (Crate Paper) + Thickers (American Crafts) + letter stickers (October Afternoon) + die cut phrase (Studio Calico) + tags (American Crafts, craft supply) + epoxy sticker (Studio Calico) + pen (Copic)
A Note from Jenny
This is one of my favorite photos from this year. It’s the last day of elementary school for both boys, so the idea of them taking flight came into my head. With that in mind I selected cloud paper, then pulled embellishments from my embellishment basket where I put new stuff and from embellishments lying loose on the table next to me. I like yellow on aqua, so I dug out some old Thickers for the title, adding pink letter stickers for contrast. Finally, I journaled around the photo in the white space to finish off the page. It took me about a half hour to make this page, but I’m really happy with the result, though it took every ounce of willpower not to pull out the sewing machine to stitch on the page.
July Fun Fact
I have visited every state in the US but Alaska, Hawaii, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

I made this page as a tribute to one of my daughter´s teachers that has had a big influence on her this past year. I love good, dedicated teachers! I have the journaling on a big tag behind the page and made a tag to make sure you see it when you flip through the album.
July Fun fact
The theme this month was to use 7 things on a page (of use the number 7 in one way or another) and at first I thought that I could never put that many products on one page, but it was easy peasy!
KITTY LOVE
BY CARI ORELLANA
8.5 x 11 | materials cardstock (American Craft) + patterned paper (Studio Calico Galileo Scrapbook Kit) + labels (Studio Calico) + mist (Mr Hueys) + stickers (Studio Calico) + pen (Smash Pen)
A Note from Cari
Is not a mystery that I LOVE my cats, so I decided to have a special photoshoot with them. The photos I used here are some of the "fail" but my favorites. This photos are fun and naturals, just the way I feel when I play with my cats.
July Fun Fact
In Chile, July is the first month of winter, but as I love bright colors I love getting all those summer collection. Not the same when in Summer starts the release of winter collections, I find them so boring compared to the sunny weather I'm dealing with.
HIPPOSTYLE
BY MARNIE FLORES
12 x 12 | materials patterned paper (American Crafts) + arrows (Adobe Photoshop) + fonts (Bondoluo, Century Gothic, Bebas)
A Note from Marnie
Seven? Seriously? I panicked! I'm good for two or three... I added in some shapes to help boost my count. ☺ I did like how it pushed me to add a little extra. It reminded me of an old Simple column where there were three layouts, each a bit more decorated. This felt like my step two!
July Fun Fact
My little ladies are dancing in the fourth of July parade this year! A first for us. They are thrilled!!
