We're continuing our seasons week with another layout celebrating fall. It's such a fun, colorful season, and it definitely deserves all the attention it's getting this week!
As corn and soybean farmers, fall has always been an extremely busy time of year for my husband and his family. You learn fast that if you want to spend time with them, you must join them in the field. Our son spends hours each spring and fall riding around in the different farm equipment with his grandpa, dad, and cousins. The photo on this layout is one of my absolute favorites depicting this time of year for us. My son has just climbed up in the combine—a feat he can finally handle all by himself—to join his dad for a ride and some quality time together.
I've been craving simplicity lately—in so many aspects of my life and it's starting to really show up in my scrapbooking too. I'm fairly sure it has to do with the birth of a new baby. It seems everything must be simplified in order to get it all done. So this layout is super simple. I've been all about big bold titles lately, and I probably spend a little too long browsing through my fonts until I find just the right one (the one on this layout is "Weston").
I hope you're enjoying this week and are finding some inspiration for your own seasonal layouts. Thanks for checking in today!
