It's Jennifer Larson again, sharing an idea for scrapbooking your favorite stories from the year.
A few years ago I had some small, leftover photos I hadn't scrapped. I put them on a page called "This was the year that..." and I made a list of what we had done that I wanted to remember. Since then, I've made this page every year. Here's the latest incarnation:
I have to confess that a lot of my design decisions come about after thinking "What do I have a lot of that I need to use up?" In this case, I have a lot of blue paper, a die cut pack that was unopened, and ink.
I made the list of memories first, then when I looked through my photos from the year, I unearthed many more memories. This page represents the whole list.
Even though I scrapbook the whole year throughout the year, I like making this compilation at the end of the year. To me it gives the year a particular weight. I encourage you to give it a go!
Come back later this week for more favorites from the team!
