Hello, again. It'a Aliza again. Yesterday I was crushing on Cathy Zielske, and today it's time to embarrass myself as I share my love for Ali Edwards.
First, I would like to say how much I admire her creativity as a business woman. I am constantly impressed by her ability to think of new ways to engage the scrapbooking community in meaningful ways. Whether it is through new products or classes, it is seriously, impressive. This is an area I can admire, but not aspire to. I just like good work when I see it.
As a scrapbooker, I adore her style which always manages to have a whimsical, artsy feel to it, with pages of different sizes, and tabs, and textures. But her pages never feel overwhelming. In her writing, she always manages to share a variety of authentic stories and feelings, without it ever feeling like she is complaining or oversharing. It is something that I think about often when I write my journaling.
As for layouts that are inspired by Ali, well, there have been a lot since I have begun to subscribe to her story kit. While the products are lovely, I am surprised by the sheer amount of stories I have been inspired to tell, and that, my friends is what it's all about.
