Generally I feel as if I am right where I’m supposed to be. I’ll be 36 this month and am excited about it. The older I get, the more comfortable I am with myself and where I am in my life.
My favorite book is whatever book I’m reading and liking at the moment. I read a lot, but nothing heavy
– think James Patterson, Nora Roberts, Janet Evanovich and Charlaine Harris. I like my books to an escape and not a struggle to understand. Fluff reading for me all the way!
During my life, I have lived no more than an hour from where I grew up. I like being close to my family. I
love the city I’m in now and can’t imagine every leaving.
One of the most defining moments of my life was when I became a mom. Amazing. I can’t imagine life
without my children.
My camera is a Canon T1I (I use my kit lens, a 50mm and a zoom) and a Canon 1100IS (perfect for my
purse or back pocket).
When I scrapbook, I must have a Dr Pepper. And candy. Preferably Milk Duds. And maybe some 80’s
music. Or Hair Bands. Love me some Bon Jovi, Def Leppard and Poison!
Though I began scrapbooking in 2002, I don't think I found my groove until 2005. But I think my style is
ever evolving.
My favorite scrapbooking color was pink. With two daughters, I use a lot of it. But now with a little boy,
I’m using a lot more blues and greys and I’m loving it. So…I’m going with grey as my current favorite.
You might notice that many of my pages include Thickers. Seriously, I'm not sure the last time I did a page without them.
